MaitreePDX presents Mishti Mukh – making lives better one mishti at a time!
That was the slogan for our fundraiser “Sweets for Smiles” – a sweet effort to provide winter clothing for orphans. MaitreePDX team had a blast making sweets and savory packets for Diwali. The event was a huge success and we were able to provide warm clothing for our little friends in Antyodoy Anath Ashram. We made a total of 600 sweets, 3 different varieties, 75 boxes of Nimkis and 5 gallons of Chanar payesh for our friends and families, who whole heartedly supported us in this endeavor. Thanks to each and everyone for the success of this fundraiser! Stay tuned for our mouth watering fundraiser for 2022 again!
